Chapter 1: Talking About the Past (Past Simple)

To talk about yesterday, we change the verb.

Regular Verbs (add -ed):

• Play -> Played (I played football yesterday)
• Work -> Worked (She worked late last night)

Irregular Verbs (memorize these):

• Go -> Went (I went to the market)
• See -> Saw (I saw a movie)
