Travel, study বা general conversation-এ কোনো country সম্পর্কে short presentation দেওয়া এবং restaurant-এ confidently কথা বলা—দুটোই useful speaking skill। এই lesson-এ দুই context practice করব।

Example opening: Today I’d like to talk about Japan. It is an island country in East Asia. Its capital is Tokyo, and the country is known for technology, food and a unique mix of modern and traditional culture.
২. Restaurant vocabulary
- menu — খাবারের তালিকা
- starter/appetizer — মূল খাবারের আগের ছোট dish
- main course — মূল খাবার
- side dish — সঙ্গে পরিবেশিত খাবার
- dessert — মিষ্টি/শেষের খাবার
- bill/check — বিল
- reservation — আগে থেকে table বুকিং
৩. Table চাইতে
Do you have a table for two?
I have a reservation under Rahman.
Could we sit by the window, please?
৪. Order করতে
Could I see the menu, please?
I’d like the grilled chicken.
What do you recommend?
Could I have this without onions?
Can we have some water, please?
৫. Problem politely বলুন
Excuse me, I think this isn’t what I ordered.
Could you warm this up, please?
I’m sorry, but the food is a little too salty for me.
৬. Bill চাইতে

Common mistakes
❌ Give me menu. → ✅ Could I see the menu, please?
❌ I want chicken. → ✅ I’d like the chicken, please.
❌ Give bill. → ✅ Could we have the bill, please?
Practice
প্রথমে একটি country নিয়ে 60-second presentation দিন। এরপর waiter/customer দুই role-এ restaurant conversation করুন—table, order, special request এবং bill পর্যন্ত অন্তত 10 line বলুন।
